Collection -The library collection contains approximately 40,000 books and other materials for adults, young adults and children.  The Children's Department houses a Parent's Place section with parenting/child information.  In addition to fiction and non-fiction books there are Large Print books, a Reader Development collection for literacy volunteers and tutors, ESL students and new adult readers.  Books on tape, Videocassettes, DVD's and Compact Discs are also available.

Our genealogical and historical collection is comprised of approximately 3,000 books and archival files that contain documents, photos and memorabilia of the local area.  Local newspapers from the mid-1800's are available on microfilm for viewing and printing in the library.  

Other special collections include Sheet music from 1920's-1950's and various library artifacts, framed prints and paintings.  Please contact our Local History Librarian for more information. 

Museum and local attraction passes are available for loan.  These passes provide free or reduced price entrance to various local attractions including museums, aquariums and parks.  A valid library card and a $10 deposit is required.  Passes are checked out for 2 days and there is a $2.00 fine per day for late return.
